I’m reading Fracture Me now, the novella set between Unravel Me and Ignite Me in Adam’s PoV.Juliette escaped from The Reestablishment by seducing Warner-and then putting a bullet in his shoulder. I just finished Unravel Me, and I love him still. I’m picturing him as british which makes him even more attractive ♥ Reading this novella, I love Warner now. Also is he british?, because the way he speaks seems like it. Warner is really neat, I think he might be OCD lol. Once you see what Warner had to deal with, the kind of father he had, you can understand him a lot better. We also meet his father (the actual Supreme Commander) and calling him horrible is an understatement. I think he should be the Supreme Commander to be honest, because he is a great leader. You truly understand that Warner doesn’t agree with The Reestablishment, and he really cares about the people.
I said in my Shatter Me review how sassy Warner was, and he was just as sassy in this book, and I really loved that. He’s not horrible, not at all really and most importantly, he really truly cares for Juliette, he’s not just obsessed with her in the creepy way we saw in Shatter Me. I finally understood and saw the Warner that everybody loved. It was explained why he did some of the things he did in Shatter Me and that was beautiful. His struggles, his fears, his feelings, it was beautiful. In Shatter Me, he’s portrayed as this ruthless psycho leader, but in Destroy Me we really get in inside look into his mind. I cannot tell you how much I loved reading from Warner’s point of view. Set after Shatter Me and before its forthcoming sequel, Unravel Me,Destroy Me is a novella told from the perspective of Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.
But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape.
